Paw and Giddyup

Well it's bin a few days since i have posted anything, the reason for that is that have bein moving and have not had any internet for last week or so.

I went out to spend the night in the motorhome i was busy all afternoon  putting away all the stuff that i had brought from the old house.i was getting ready for bed and it has been raining all day i like to sleep out their and hear the rain drops hitting the room it put you right to sleep.

while i was in the bathroom i looking around at everything and i notice that i had a crack in my sky light over my shower stall. water was coming in  and staining my roof in the bathroom. after that i didn't n sleep too good worrying about that leak. well this morning i got up had my coffee i can't forget that coffee. w3hle i was enjoying a hot cup of joe. i new what i had to do, about 09:15 hrs giddyup and i headed for Red Bay, Al and i'm sitting typing this post and getting it on the web useing Tiffin free wi-fi. good single all over the campground.

well that about the way it is with paw and giddyup today.

PAW

I  want to tell you paw has I been MOVING from his house in tupelo, ms to his house at ecru, ms  poor old paw is worn out from packing up stuff. i just don't see how one old man can accumulate so much material things in just three short years. i shore glad i don't that i don't have take all that junk with me when i died. if i did they would need about half of the cemetery to bury me in.

I want you To know that it was cold this morning when i fire up old blackie to go my house in Tupelo, it was 27 degs  when i left Ecru, paw don't like all this old weather,i generally make it thru christmas before i start want to see some  green ,green grass. it ain't even the 1st of december and i done mess around and caught a bad case of hitch itch and i still about three months to go before i can take off.

Paw said not to worry about it after  the holidays are over that we fudged a little bit and go down to the gulf of Ms. and visit with nash and betty for a week or so.i need to check and see if they have full hookup at the state parks..

WELL MY OLD KEY BOARD IS  MISS UP ALL THAT I CAN TYPE IS  LARGE LETTERS.

Travels with Paw

Friday Aberdeen Rv call and said that my motorhome was ready to go and the refiguration was freeze ice and ready to go.I took off  down there and got her home before noon. and i had couple of ice trays full of ice.

I  got my house at Tupelo, Ms up for sale  and i'm moving back  to my home at Ecru. I slept one nite in  giddyup and last night i my bedroom and bed were me and carolyn slept before she pass away i't been almost three yeays now i think i will be able to handle everything now and i will always love her and missed her so much. what i want to say ios that i didn't make arrangement for Coffee this morning. Well now we know that don't come alive until he get the first cup down. Boys i want to tell you that when you are 80 years old and you have lost your giddyup and i'ts done gone from you run out steam real quick. and that the way it is with Paw today.

I talk with the service manager at Aberdeen RV and said they were installing my new Refrigerator and he would let it cool down over night and me a call tomorrow and let know if i can come and pick her up. I sure need to get her to house were i can start loading her up. I'm about ready to hit the road again. I have bad case of the Hitch Itch and only cure is a good long camping trip.

I like to sit around a nice camp fire on a cool day and meditate on life  and how Paw life  has turn out 

over his life time. He has  been a traveling man ever  since i broth my dad mules out the field on 4 May 1955 because i new that i was going into the Army the next day that started a adventure that is still going on today I'v been in five different country on my travel thru this world and i thank my lord for ever minute of it, Just wish that i could do it again. That the way it is with Paw today. I will post more when i get Giddyup home Take Care and God Bless

I got giddyup down to the Rv fixing up place this morning and he said it may take a few days to check it out and see if it can be repaired i sure hope that it is repairable i don't want to think about having to buy a new one.

I think i may have to have new set tires this next year. those tires are seven years old if i don't take a long tripe i maybe able to wait another year. .I had to have my coffee abou 04;00hrs this morning
before i could get ready to go. I'm in my slow mood unit i get on the second cup  i like that coffee.

Think about that coffee now i was 28 years old before i start to drink it I  was station in  Alaska for two years and i got to likeing it up their when temperature is  down around -20 degs you like anything that will warm you up a little bit.

Paw and Giddyup

Well i had to have me a cup coffee to get going today, I hope everyone has got them a hot cup Coffee and sitting back and let world go by.

I have got to take Giddyup in the morning to the RV fixed up place and have her work on. The refrigerator check out we had power surge a couple weeks ago and it want work anymore. I sure hope i don't have to buy a new one. Paw said them refrigerator have got bad high, don't that beat all it's shore will mess my camping money up look out Wal Mart here i come.


It' a nice cool day here in North Mississippi this morning going to be in low 60s and 70s today. I hope to get go camping next however it all depend on how we come out tomorrow.

I have got call VA at 09;30hrs this morning they are going to get me some new hearing aids i sure do need them i can't hear it Thumber anymore. And that the way it is with Paw today. Take Care and God Bless

Well i had go and winterize mind and  Paw motorhome today. I took Paw with me so he could make sure that done everything right  Paw said that i was getting old and i couldn't remember half of what i need to do, I don' know why he is all ways saying that i'm the that has got old.. ha I'm not the one that got us on dead  end street when we went down to the gulf coast in Mississippi a few years ago.

I know right away that Paw done mess up bad.when  he turn into  this driveway to turn around and i told Paw that i need to get out so could watch and keep him from backing into the ditch on the other side of the road Paw said he had one them new backing camber on back of this thing and he told me to sit down over their and watch how it's done, I know right then that Paw was heading for big trouble and about that time he went into that ditch and front end went up i the air about 3ft and i headed for the door when i got outside and looked at my motorhome it was enough to make a man cry i though that i could hear Taps plating in the background I just snap to attention and presented arms.

He wants to talk about me getting old i tell you right here that Paw has passed over that hill three or four time all ready,

Tell me that i'm old and going to take my driving licenses away from me and my keys. That reminds me that i had better get me a set made were i can hind that someplace. Some night he gets to sleeping and snoring so loud that you can hear him all the way from Ecru to Pontotoc
.about one or two clock in morning i slip up their and get blackie hookup to getty up and take off i can be close to Huston, TX before he wakes up. That will show him who the young man around here.

That about the way it is with the old redneck today. I want to be off of this thind before Paw wakes up.

It' sure is cold for Paw and me this morning in North Mississippi 39 degs man that is cold  for this old redneck I told Paw that he need to get the heat going so i could warm up little bit; You know what Paw told me he said when he was in the USA Army that some yankee ask him what a little bit ment. Paw said he like to swallow his chewing  of tobacco he though everybody knew what a little bit ment.

Do you know? I don't know either. well i thought that Paw would get round to telling me what it ment one of these day.

I need to fine mind and Paw starts and strips flag were i can post it when ever i need to."Ever Day"

Maybe it's out in barn in the corn crib, I shore hope Paw ain't let rats eat holes all in my flag them things cost a lot of money. And it don't grow on trees around here, i can tell you that Paw.

You know what old Ben sayed save them coppers then someday you will have a little money when you need to pay our taxes.

You know that Paw and me  keep checking with CNN and we have not seen anyone in a rushing to leave this USA for other parts of the world.

I Paw said he  shore thought that he had hear a that lot of people say that they going to leave the country if Trump was elected. Paw said that he  didn't want to miss them leaving cause he shore want wish them Good BY.

Well i guess Paw and i have cause enough mischief for one day, So me and Paw will log off for now.
